preparing for a walk in the rain

 The sight of the rain pouring down outside is calming. All the colours are darkened, saturated, and the tiles of the roofs opposite are soaking wet and dripping. The steady sound of the rain is relaxing, so long as there is no need to go out into it.

It is late this day, for there is no need to get up early. The kitchen was a horror show, now things will have to change or else it will just be a matter for the asylum.or the jail. But it was possible to produce one standard breakfast and to transport the fetid biological waste down to the bin. The cat demanded to be fed, dealt with that too. Covered a cake, to prevent the cat from eating it. 

This is a sad state of affairs, things were actually in order after waking up. In this life of potential comfort why must reality be so nasty?

There is a phone call reminding that there is to be a dentist appointment tomorrow to remove the stitches in the gum. Presumably the operation to remove the source of the infection was a success, there has been no pain associated with the operation yet.

It is time to think about preparing for a walk in the rain.
