evening walk

It would be good to know why it was impossible to sleep for much of last night, but then perfectly possible to sleep comfortably during the morning, why almost the first half of the day.
It seems unfair, going to bed an hour earlier, being tired, and then being unable to sleep.
The cat made an awful fuss in the morning, wanting to be fed all the time.

It was misery.

But the mornings sleep was good. Perhaps this is what turning into a night owl is all about, a strange thing for a photographer, creeping around in the dark.

With the small battery to jump start the car in hand, go to the vehicle. The jump start works without any difficulties today. Drive the car to the building suppliers and buy a bundle of zip ties. Look at the pricing of car batteries, but these seem extraordinarily high. Perhaps it is still winter stock, the time when car batteries are more expensive.

It is a pleasant day. Go to the artists studio and use three of the zi ties to fix a metal plate to a shelf. There will be an event tomorrow which is open to the public and there is no wish that members of the same start tampering with the contents of the shelves. A young man from the pub helps with the fixing of the ties.
Then clear some of the more valuable bits of photographic equipment out form the space where they are kept. Load them into the back of the car.

Chat with the landlord, and then take a long drive home, trying to load the car battery just a bit to facilitate starting during the rest of the month. If the financial situation has improved by then it will be possible to buy a replacement.

Unload the car at home, and then take a walk about town.

In the evening make up a mockup of the visiting card for the artist.

An now it is five to ten, time to go for a walk
