inactive 2

The day was spent on small things, and the evening was spent rearranging the furniture in the shop. The aim is to empty the front part of the shop so that it may be decorated and perhaps to be used as a gallery after all. Perhaps it can be made to work. The son is preparing for his drive back up to Bayreuth. He has his work to take care of, he takes the whole business most seriously. He will have his Easter holidays soon.

The day is pleasant and unproductive.
Give a beggar fifty cents, Never mind the man walking up the street shaking his head. He probably disapproves of people having to beg, or else he disapproves of beggars.

People are very friendly today. Something must be wrong.
Maybe it is just the good weather.
Spend the rest of the day moving furniture and seeing that clothes are put into the washing machine.

It is now evening, and there are forms to fill and letters to write.
