Now it is half past eight again, the next thing will be to have al look at a recording of today's news.

After late breakfast went out with the son to vote. The polling place was in his old school. Went in, made two crosses on the ballot, and went back and put the ballot into the box. The vote is for the mayor and the town council.

Said goodbye to the helpers at the poll.

The day was pleasant enough, despite its late start. Helped the son tidy up some of his room m. It is a massive job, he has been carrying things into the room for the last ten years and happily ignoring entreaties to tidy the room up. He also resisted any attempts to help him clean his room vigorously.

After a couple of hours, go out to the italian place to have a pizza.

He starts to explain theoretical computer science. He is currently studying this and it is good to hear that he is doing well. It is a hard subject to understand, and as an outsider there is no chance.

The pizza is not great, but that does not matter.

At home, rest in bed to digest all that cheese and tomato topping. It even had mushrooms in it.

In the evening, just relax.

There seems to be a cold infection on its way. Perhaps it will be better to stay at home all evening.
