and then again, maybe not

There will be a major medical examination today, this will be an attempt to exclude the malignancy of a swelling of the prostate gland in this dear old body. It will be necessary to take a journey of some sixty kilometres, it was the only place available for an appointment at such short notice.

The whole business is worrying. Outside, the birds are chirping, some necessary communication to do with their nesting activities. The bells of Saint Martins and all the other churches in Landshut sound outside, and the sound of electrical hammers is now to be heard all over the town.

There may be further stories later today, and then again, maybe not.

Why not. Now it is evening, it is five , the birds outside are  still cheeping, as if nothing had changed, only the sun is on the other end of it's run across the sky. The examination in Regenstauf meant just a long time in a pipe, wearing headphones and listening to the loud thumps and squeaks of the machine. This takes about half an hour, then it is over.

Took the road back to Landsut immediately after the examination. There was no wish to go anywhere else or to visit anybody. It was frustrating that the doctor will take almost a whole week to provide his assesment ot the results. Now that things are so frightening there is a wish to get the nonsense over with.

The whole afternoon was spent fixing the fuse box, first having to buy two small packages of cable ties, then buying yet another bag of apples and then returning home. After a careful look at the fuse box see that all has been provided for, and after removing some errant pieces of plaster start fixing the wires one by one, ensuring that they all lie neatly beside each other. It is actually not difficult.
