Hang the jacket war yesterday out on the balcony. Yesterday was spent at a smokers place, and the fumes have lodged in the fibres of the jacket. Hanging the jacket in the breeze on the balcony will allow this smell to dissipate. The other clothes will go into the wash.
It is the first of June, and it is a brilliant summer day.
And despite the late night, all is well today. The depressions have gone. Remember not to succumb to deeply when they return.
The clothes have been sorted, go out for a walk. Buy a slice of meat loaf in a roll for a snack, look around the town, things are quiet, it being Thursday today. It is hot, and it is pleasant.
The afternoon will be spent in the gallery, minding the pictures. The gallery's proprietors have both to be at a conference in Passau. That will take care of the day today.
