It is now 23:27 and it is dark again, like it was this morning. Meanwhile some things have happened, the lens is in order according to the camera merchant, so be it.
A telephone call with the radio man who wants to become lord mayor of a small town, his birthplace. An offer to come down to his election campaign tomorrow. It will be a three hour journey, there will be pleasant people to meet, perhaps some pictures to be taken. It will be entertaining, perhaps even tiring.
The usual walks around the town, then a return home and a visit to the church to take a picture of its ceiling. This is made up of crossed arches, it is all highly symmetrical and it has been freshly decorated. Christ on his cross looks down upon the congregation.
Return home and do the picture. John telephones, now there is an invitation to an evening meal. This is good. Take the pictures and pack them into the small camera bag. Tidy up a few things and then walk on down the street to John's place.
Tomorrow will be busy, good night.
